Now that is my kind of rich guy. He is doing the Lord’s work by driving that thing as it should be driven.

Could be a clone. I saw a car that said it was an RS in Japan, rolled past me in a small town. No idea if its real, but Izu is an area with nice roads and people take cars there to drive. Beverly Hills is a spot where we can believe it.

That’s not an RS. Look at the bumper.

That 2.7 RS is indeed a REAL RS. It’s well documented California car.
What made you think it is not? Which bumper, front or rear?

I’m saying the green one he just posted. I posted the original white 2.7 RS, which I do indeed believe is real. The green one he just posted doesn’t have a 2.7 RS front bumper.

Also, based off of your user name, you’ll appreciate this.

Just realized, you are not speaking about the WHITE 2.7RS parked in California, but the GREEN car in Japan. Sorry, my mistake.
The Green car in Japan is a G-body, ‘74 and up, with 5mph front and rear bumpers.
PLEASE NOTE: Albeit NOT having RS nomenclature, that tail was an option on European 2.7 Carreras produced from ‘74 till ‘76. Albeit NOT having the RS name, the Carerra 2.7 had exactly the same MFI engine as the legendary ‘73 2.7 RS.

YES, the ‘late’ Irvine C&C, indeed.
Went there many a time over some years. Talked a friend into going for the one before the last. Glad we did! For, as it turned out, SO MANY PEOPLE SHOWED UP the organizers were forced by the City to C A N C E L the planed VERY LAST ONE, so we actually DID attend the last one!
In SoCal as well, correct.

Still pissed I missed that one. I was planning to go to the very last one, but I’m so pissed they cancelled it.

If you LOVED that sound, above URL will let you ride along with Richard Madden of CAR Magazine, in a very famous rallye car that has not only long, open intake stacks but also RS rallye exhaust. Heaven! E N J O Y !!!

I... It... It’s so beautiful. I need to own a classic 911 at some point in my life. If not own, at least drive.

The City of Irvine made them, as they were fearing even more people would show up for the last of the last one. The one we last attended was pretty crazy as ALL surrounding parking lots were ABSOLUTELY FULL. From our previous visits, we estimated 4 to 5 TIMES the amount of people showed up than normally... A bit of a ZOO, to be sure...
Surprised also, no replacement as yet...? Some talk was about the old Toro Air field. But noting was reported after that time. And that was 6 months ago...
